Magic was in the air as guests arrived at the Noel Coward theatre on a finally summery London evening this Wednesday to hail the return of Impossible for a 60 show instalment in the West End after a successful tour.
The cast were joined on the red carpet by a host of celebs including Anton Stephens (we don’t think there is a person in showbiz with a bigger, more genuine smile), classical singers Laura Wright and Natalie Coyle, TV presenter Gaby Roslin who showed up with her whole family in tow (who wouldn’t bring the kids to a magic show?!), and Dr Dawn Harper amongst others.
TOWIE star Lauren Pope arrived wearing a sexy red number and dragging her date behind her. While we missed Heston Blumenthal sneaking into the audience, he did appear at the end of the show to mingle with the magic makers.
One of the show’s main stars, and this year’s Britain’s Got Talent winner, Lance Corporal Richard Jones even had a sweet reunion at the after party with the very man who inspired him to become a magician, the longest serving member of the Magic Circle, 97 year old Fergus Anckorn, who Jones told us had shown him how to perform his first magic trick when he was a child.
Needless to say, it was a night of magic everywhere we turned!
