Superstar DJ Calvin Harris let his music do the talking when he delivered a storming performance at the Apple Music Festival.
He was a man of very few words, instead delivering an amazing light and pyrotechnic show and hit after hit to a euphoric crowd at Camden’s Roundhouse. The highest paid DJ of our time turned the Roundhouse around and around with his set list including smashes “This Is What You Came For”, “I Need Your Love, “Bounce”, “Feel So Close” and “Sweet Nothing.”
The penultimate track of the show was “We Found Love”, Rihanna’s hit that he features on. He shared this sweet pic on Instagram earlier in the day to mark the five years since it was penned.
The show marks Apples’ 10th anniversary of the Apple Music Festival, originally know as the iTunes Festival, where the likes of Elton John, Lady Gaga, Coldplay, Adele, Kasabian have all played. This year we’ve had performances from Elton John, The 1975, Alicia Keys, One Republic. Still to come is Robbie Williams, Bastille, Britney Spears, Michael Bublé and Chance the Rapper. Lets see what the last five acts have to offer.
Tickets are free on a ballot entry for the event through the new streaming service launched last year by Apple. Alternatively you can stream the shows through applemusicfestival.com in the comfort of your own home.
