Out of the two of them I have to admit that I like the meaning and story behind Castle On The Hill, however, Shape Of You won me over! I love the simplistic beat throughout with the slow build up before the drop during the choruses. This single really enhances his vocal abilities as it tests ED to not only show us his capability and it’s a beautiful way of ED using his voice as his main musical instrument. The harmonies are the meat of the song with the instruments being their solid framework. The acoustic maestro has done it again and I can’t wait to hear the rest of the Divide album.
