Now in its fourth year, and after a hugely successful sold out 2016 event, the Corona SunSets Festival is returning to London on Saturday 29th July.
For one day only Greenwich Peninsula will be transformed into a beach paradise for thousands of music fans, where the transformational power of the sunset will be brought to life through eclectic music and cultural acts, taking place against the capital’s iconic skyline.
The London event will feature a line-up of world-class acts, including Thomas Jack, Felix Jaehn, José Padilla, Mambo Brothers and Vicetone who are confirmed as the first artists. The festival will see performances across the Griffin and Crown Stages, which are audio-visual spectacles that create a festival experience like no other as the sun sets over the spectacular London Greenwich skyline. Many more acts and headliners will also be announced over the coming weeks.
Every experience at Corona Sunsets has been handpicked to encompass the perfect day under the sun, with the festival uniquely combining chilled acoustic beach tunes, upbeat melodic, and deep house music with local beach and urban culture to immerse people in the experience of a sunset from day to night.
From the moment revellers enter the festival and are invited to add their wishes and dreams to the SunSets flags, they will find an array of activities to capture the imagination, and the magic of a sunset. Eclectic music performances, beach games and local, handmade items will all be on offer, as well as golden sunset tattoo and body painting stations to initiate guests into the ‘SunSets Tribe’.
Aina Fuller, Marketing Manager Corona UK & Ireland, says: “Last year, Corona brought the first ever beach festival to London, transforming the Peninsula into a sunsethaven and igniting thousands of music fans across the country, which led to it being a sell-out success. We’re thrilled to be returning to London this year, with an amazing new line up of incredible artists. We’re looking forward to creating new, unique and transformational moments for festival goers, providing them with a truly exceptional view of the sunset, and inspiring everyone to get outside and live more of the moments that matter.”
The Corona SunSets series now consists of more than eight flagship festivals and close to 4,000 events worldwide including Japan, Mexico, South Africa and Australia.
