The brand new (San Diego) Comic-Con teaser trailer release is here! Giving us a little more insight into the pre Potter wizarding world of Newt Scarmander (Eddie Redmayne) and times are tough with the Magi folk.
We get our first glimpses of Jude Law’s young Dumbledore… despite my reserved judgement it looks promising, if not somewhat darker than than the wizened wizard of the Potter franchise we have come to know and love.
The titular Fantastic Beasts, new and old, are present in abundance and there will definitely some familiar Maj and No-Maj returnees from the first film.
Overall it looks like we are set for a brilliant 9th instalment to JK Rowling’s wizarding world… considering its based on a Hogwarts standard text book that’s pretty good.
I have to say, the bit I’m most excited to see is Johnny Depp’s interpretation of Grindlewald, (excited may be a tiny understatement) and the comic-con trailer does nothing to decrease the anticipation for this films 16 November 2018 release.
