Sia is back! Not that she has left at all as her single Cheap Thrills has remained at the number 1 spot for the last 4 weeks! Never the less, her new single: The Greatest, looks to smash that with almost 3 million views on YouTube in the first day alone!
Not only is Sia a 5 times GRAMMY Award nominee, multi-platinum selling artist/songwriter/”hit maker” but also an international icon (well her hair at least). For her latest release, The Greatest, included a collaboration with Greg Kurstin in writing and producing the track. She has also called on the help of Daniel Askill, Ryan Heffington and dancer Maddie Ziegler. If these names don’t mean much to you on their own then you might know them jointly as the team who were responsible for most of Sia’s internet breaking smash videos including “Chandelier,” “Elastic Heart,” and “Cheap Thrills.”
As if this wasn’t enough, Sia starts on her US tour: Nostagic for the Present, from the 29th September accompanied but her dancer, muse and start of her videos Maddie Zeigler. A tour like this, the Rolling Stone magazine has said “promises to recreate some of the stunning visuals and choreography that the singer usually packs into her music videos and unique live performances” and Bustle raved it’s “sure to be epic.”
